News: VISTA LAKEFRONT’S PRESIDIO: City Resort Living Rises to New Heights
From Business Mirror Tue, January 24, 2012 by Christine V. Tupaz
THERE is a place where kites still paint the skies with vibrant colors; where friendly dogs can run to their hearts’ content; where children from five to 95 can see castles in the clouds, dance in the rain and sing with the stars, and where residents can experience living at a pace that celebrates life every step of the way—Vista Land’s Lakefront.
Lakefront
Lakefront is an exclusive community by Vista Land that is located right beside Laguna de Bay in Sucat. Within this 60-hectare master-planned development will rise 14 mixed-use enclaves, six of which have already been built—The Marfori Tower, La Posada, Marina Heights, Victorianne, The Wharf and Presidio.
Enjoying a wide setback from the main access, South Luzon Expressway (Slex), the noise and traffic can’t affect the residents’ morning waking hours. With sweeping vistas of the country’s largest lake, they also get 100-percent natural fresh air and a sense of tranquillity that is hard to match.
Inspired by the bohemian lifestyle of the artful City of San Francisco, this lakeside community has been hosting a number of family-friendly fun—providing a secure environment for physical activities while injecting a sense of whimsy especially after a week of hard work.
With views of Laguna Lake and Sierra Madre Mountains, Lakefront is a quick 10 minutes from Makati business hub and 15 minutes from Ortigas Financial district via C-5. It is 10 minutes away from Alabang and 15 minutes from the airports through Slex via the Nichols exit. With four major entry points from the South Luzon Expressway Slex via Sucat exit, the future C-6 exit, Bicutan access and the Taguig National Road, Lakefront is a natural growth and business extension to Makati. There is also a Lakefront Shuttle Service that provides transfers to and from SM Bicutan and Sucat.
Presidio
Presidio is synonymous with the city-resort lifestyle that combines home accessibility and exclusivity set on a quiet and secluded, amenity-filled community at Lakefront. These Victorian-inspired, multilevel structures, named after world-renowned artists, had been planned around a roomy, pavilion-style, two-level Clubhouse that features a free-form swimming pool with a lush, landscaped garden planted with tropical palm trees. The development plan adopts this circular web-like layout with the open, sprawling pavilion in the middle, emanating a relaxed, airy mood that transcends into each residential tower—like a world-class tropical resort.
Presidio is a cluster of mid-rise condominium structures comprised of studio, one- and two-bedroom units. Seven towers, aptly named after the great masters of art, have already risen and are ready for occupancy. But Renoir, Monet, Michelangelo, Picasso, Da Vinci, Rembrandt, Bellini and recently—Cezanne—are only the first of 16 structures. This haven with a commanding view of the Laguna de Bay will soon welcome the addition of Boticelli, Van Gogh, El Greco, Pissaro and Raphael.
Each tower is equipped with landscaped drop-off area, well-appointed lobby, passenger and freight elevators and CCTV. Exclusive to Presidio is a pavilion type, Wi-Fi enabled, clubhouse set in tropical, lush landscaping featuring a free-form swimming pool, lobby lounge, social halls and function rooms, fitness center, game room, meandering jog paths, barbecue pit and private courtyards.
For an added convenience, Presidio will also have its own commercial area with specialty shops and choice fine-dining restaurants. The Lakefront Boardwalk at the back of Presidio enclave now houses establishments such as Puregold Supermarket, Metrobank, Octagon Computer Center, Kumon, Finds Convenience Store, Soak and Suds Laundry, Pan De Manila, and various food options. Soon David’s Salon and Jollibee Drive Thru and Partyplace, other service concessionaires, more dining choices and selected retail options will be opening in the development.
Lakefront Boardwalk matches residents’ expectations of convenience. It’s an engaging commercial hub, by design and function, where patrons enjoy, not just the many offerings, but the inherent charm of the Boardwalk itself with Presidio as its backdrop. A place where the finer pursuits such as time to bond with the family rely on the presence of community conveniences, Presidio residents will literally look only as far as their backyard for shopping, entertainment, dining and service conveniences. Homeowners, however, will continue to enjoy a high level of security and privacy at this fenced enclave which restricts access through an entry that is exclusive to its residents.
Commuting in and out of Presidio is made even easier with the Lakefront Shuttle Service, which goes around Lakefront (Pit stop at The Wharf up to M.L. Quezon Avenue), from Monday to Saturday, every 30 minutes from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Cezanne
Presidio’s eight towers are mostly sold out and are now paving the way to a new tower, Cezanne, which is a mid-rise, seven-story condominium featuring a commercial area on the ground floor and residential area on the second to seventh floor. Cezanne is the first atrium-type tower in Presidio. This architectural lay-out provides appropriate spaces for the unique requirements of plant species, including attention to lighting, temperature and air flow. Cezanne is also equipped with an elevator and individual drying cages for each unit.
It offers studio units at 21 sq m and two-bedroom units at 37 sq m to 45 sq m. Unit prices range from P1.7 million to P1.8 million for studio units and P2.4 million to P3 million for two-bedroom units. Pre-selling for Cezanne is now ongoing with target turnover in December 2013.
“At Vista Land, we have always envisioned our developments as more than just homes. We build cities where life is celebrated in every aspect—from the architecture to the master plan and the activity spaces. Our commercial hubs: The Lakefront Boardwalk, The Wharf and the Tent, which host a myriad of activities, simply provide a taste of greater things to come. Weekend markets, bazaars, concerts and performances can be accommodated within the grounds and are expected to add more color to this already vibrant community,” said Maribeth Tolentino, COO of Vista Residences.
“Apart from these special events, however, Lakefront also offers a perfect venue for day-to-day physical activities that our residents indulge in. A daily exercise workout becomes an event to look forward to when one is biking, running or hiking in the picturesque trails and paths within Lakefront,” she added.
Lakefront is truly an appreciation of a free-spirited way of living. From its architecture to the choice amenities and even the neighborhood events and activities it offers, every detail speaks of a celebration of life where luxury is a standard and the everyday reveals something joyfully unexpected.
